“As the holiday season approaches, my children and I look forward to continuing our family holiday tradition,” Lee said in a press release. “We look forward to this time of year and enjoy finding the perfect gifts for these children. This event brings so much joy to my family as we love the thought of these children opening their personalized gift packages.”

He continued, “We are very blessed to have a wonderful partner in FamilyAid to deliver these packages to specific families in the Boston area. Even though my children are grown and off to college, we all still look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.”

In honor of the “happy” 13th year of gift distribution, Lee, host of The Bernard Lee Poker Show, took specific requests for the gift packages provided by FamilyAid, a Boston-based nonprofit organization and a leading provider for homeless families.

“FamilyAid is thrilled and grateful that Bernard Lee is once again distributing gifts to the children in our animal shelters this Christmas season. His generosity comes at a time when families face more limited financial resources and housing challenges than ever before. We hear from families every day that providing Christmas gifts is daunting, if not impossible,” said FamilyAid President Larry Seamans. “Thanks to Bernard and his family, the children in our care will have gifts to enjoy, and parents will be relieved to see their children’s joy this holiday season. We thank Bernard and his children once again for their continued generosity and support.”

Lee founded the Full House Charity Program in February 2011 and has since provided over $100,000 in goods and funds to child-focused organizations in New England. Since its inception, the Full House Charity Program has helped over 500 families and 800 children.
