In the middle of the 82-table poker room stands a player from The Lodge, Chris C.proposed to his girlfriend, Only B, who acts at The Lodge. Chris had asked the poker room manager Joe Strazzera to set it up so he could ask the question in front of hundreds of people. Here’s a video of how it all went down.

The video began with Chris getting on his knees after popping the question. Jen, like any smart poker player, didn’t make a snap call right away, but instead took a quick moment to collect her thoughts before spotting the call. The couple kissed to the cheers of the crowd and can now live happily ever after.

Jen and Chris no longer live in Texas and have moved to Arizona. According to Strazzera, Chris was a regular at The Lodge and they still return to the card room as Jen works as a traveling dealer and handles some events there.

The lodge is co-owned by Doug Polk, Andrew CapeAnd Brad Owen, and is one of the most popular places to play poker… and get engaged in Texas. It’s such a popular place that even podcasters Joe Rogan gave the place a shout out.
