Online satellites to kick off the 2024 WSOP Main Event for players from NJ/NV, PA and MI

If you haven’t registered yet WSOP.com still in both Nevada/New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Michigan, now is the time for it. Every weekend in February, the online platform offers players the chance to win a place Main Event of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2024 via online satellites with buy-ins of $215 and $320.

There are two satellites each weekend for players in the NJ/NV player pool, while a qualifying tournament is available for players in MI and PA. Whoever emerges victorious in the satellites will receive $10,000 in tournament buy-in chips WSOP 2024with which you can take part in the Main Event or another bracelet of your choice.

When do the satellites take place?

NV/NJ players get two bites of the apple as there is a satellite event on both Saturday and Sunday, while PA and MI have a single satellite event for each platform starting on Sunday evening.

NV/NJ satellites

  • Saturdays at 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET: $320 buy-in and a $10,000 GTD seat
  • Sundays at 3:30pm PT/6:30pm ET: $215 buy-in and a $10,000 seat GTD

PA and MI satellites

  • Sundays at 7:00 p.m.: $215 buy-in and a $10,000 Seat GTD

In addition, WSOP Main Event freerolls take place every month on WSOP.com. Depositing players using the code WIN2024 receive a ticket to a freeroll taking place on February 29th. However, make sure you have this done by February 27th.

The winner gets the chance to take part in the biggest and most prestigious tournament on the poker calendar.

What do we know about the WSOP 2024?

The 55th Annual WSOP will take place from May 28th to July 17th, 2024. While the tournament schedule will be released sometime next week, officials have already confirmed that the 2024 WSOP $10,000 Main Event will take place from July 3rd to 17th.

The Main Event has had a record-breaking year Daniel Weinman beat 10,043 players to win the Main Event for $12.1 million. It was the largest Main Event in WSOP history, surpassing the field of 8,663 players Jamie Gold was defeated in 2006, winning a $12 million first place prize.

Maintaining the traditional $10,000 buy-in, players will have a choice of four starting days from the schedule, expected to be as follows: Day 1a-d July 3-6, with post-registration also open on Day 2abc (Sunday, July 7, 2024) remains open) and day 2d (Monday, July 8, 2024).
