Police in California have arrested a man in connection with the destruction of dozens of vehicles in a casino parking lot. During his three-month trip, Matthew Ebner flattened the tires of at least 35 vehicles at the Table Mountain Casino in Fresno.

Many of the victims noted that they had driven over metal spikes. Deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office eventually identified Ebner by linking him to a suspicious truck and arrested the 53-year-old at his home on Wednesday. During the search, they found the homemade metal spikes – objects that stick into tires and are supposed to flatten them.

Police believe Ebner had a long-standing feud with the casino that resulted in him causing thousands of dollars in property damage. The basis of the dispute is currently unclear. The Dos Palos resident was booked into the Fresno County Jail on $25,000 bond. He faces numerous charges of vandalism.
