The UK based player “SuperSolid” redeemed themselves in the #18: $5,000 Short Deck Championship [3-Stack]. Last week “SuperSolid” made it to heads-up Event #11: $100 FLIP & GO No-Limit Hold’em. However, they were knocked out Jinlong “yiliuqi” Hu.

There was no such disappointment this week as “SuperSolid” beat the big names in a final table to take home the $5,000 Short Deck title, the bracelet and… $153,471 in the prize money.

Eight named players competed against the anonymous “SuperSolid”: Marcin Barwinski, Joao Vieira, David Mzareulov, Martin Nielsen, Ivan Ermin, Ole Shemion, Stoyan Madanzhievand that of Ukraine Artem Kobylynskyi.

Any of these players would be enough to make a short deck table difficult. Defeating all eight is quite a feat.
