The field for the $1 million buy-in “Big One for One Drop”. which will take place in December World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship. at Wynn Las Vegas continues to grow as five more players have confirmed their participation in the seven-figure event.
High stakes veteran Jason Koon will once again take part in the Big One For One Drop, while newer high-stakes grinders Alexey Ponakov, Arthur Martirosian, Orpen Kisacikoglu And Santhosh Suvarna will all be making their Big One debut.
“The Big One is just over a month away and exceptional entries continue to fill the seats at this unique event.” WPT CEO Adam Pliska said in a press release. “Jason is a respected member of the high-stakes community. It was an honor to hear about his commitment.”
Six more players confirmed for $1M WPT Big One for One Drop
The addition of the new players brings the total number of entries to 13 Phil Ivey, Rick Solomon, Nick Petrangelo, Chris Brewer, And “Jungle Man” Cates, David Einhorn, Talal Shakerchi And Mikita Badziakouski.
Koon, who is fourth on the all-time money list with live earnings of $52.6 million, played at One Drop 2018 but failed to cash in.
As they all make their Big One debuts, Ponakovs, Martirosian, Kisacikoglu and Suvarna will prove tough opponents, with each player boasting seven-figure live earnings.
