The World Poker Tour (WPT) And Wynn Las Vegas will offer the biggest guarantee in poker history next month when the WPT World Championship worth $40,000,000 starts on December 12th.

The flagship tournament is part of the WPT World Championship Serieswhich will take place at Wynn Las Vegas November 29th – December 23rd. The overview includes several million dollar guarantees as well as the return of The Big one for a dropa $1,000,000 buy-in for charity, running for the first time since 2018.

Outside of the tournament schedule, the series also features a variety of poker activities, from meet-up games to televised cash streams, as well as the return of the WPT Players Party at AREA15.

WPT World Championship Series schedule

Buy-ins for the WPT World Championship Series range from $600 to $1,000,000, with plenty of action in between. The start of the series is the simultaneous start of the $600 limit/Omaha 8 and that $600 No Limit Hold’em with multiple launch flights and a $1,000,000 guarantee.

A Mystery Bounty valued at $1,600 runs from December 4th to 7th with a $2,000,000 Guarantee and that leads directly into the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship 7th–12th December. The $1,100 Women’s Championship joins them in the early stages from December 6th to 8th.

The Main Event takes place from December 12th to 21st with four opening flights and several days of live coverage. It also begins on December 12th $1,100 HORSE CHAMPIONSHIP, one of several mixed games tournaments on the program. Mixed players also have a chance $2,200 8-game mix on December 8th and on $3,000 Dealer’s Choice Championship on December 20th.

Also on the program is the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop, which is taking place for the first time since 2018.

The tournament schedule is stacked, but there will be plenty of side quests for players who need a different kind of action. The Premier Meet-Up Game starts on December 1st at 9 a.m. and Phil Ivey is scheduled to appear alongside the hosts Andrew Cape And Brad Owen with several other prominent guests.

The WPT Players Party will also return on December 11th at AREA15 with an open bar, food and live entertainment.

WPT’s reporting schedule includes several cash flows, starting with the Creator Cash Game on December 7th. Coverage of the WPT World Championship begins with Day 2 on December 16th and continues through the final table on December 21st.
