Mikki Mase, a well-known social media influencer and professional gambler, was arrested and questioned by police in Los Angeles. The arrest came as neighbors in the Chatsworth area reported hearing gunshots. Police interviewed Mase and three other men.

After the call came in around 10:30 p.m., police arrived at the scene wearing tactical helmets and rifles. As seen in a video of the incident, Mase and the three other men then walked toward police as they walked down the street. The officers asked them to walk toward them with their hands raised before handcuffing them:

Police made no arrests in the incident. The Los Angeles Times contacted Mase by phone on Monday. He said: “It is not a crime to walk on a public footpath. We weren’t on private property. I saw fireworks going off earlier in the night and thought it was strange, but thought if I lived out here I could do the same thing.”

In nine appearances on the show, he racked up over $900,000 in losses

Mase, whose real name is Michael Meiterman, has appeared on the poker show Hustler Casino Live several times and wears a hoodie with the show’s logo in the video. The player has amassed more than $900,000 in losses in nine appearances on the show.

In a recent Discovery documentary series called “Hustlers Gamblers Crooks,” Mase claimed he won $4.5 million playing baccarat at several Las Vegas casinos.
