The PokerGO Tour (PGT) leaves Las Vegas and heads to Texas for the first-ever PGT Texas Poker Open at Champions Club Texas in Houston. The series runs from April 24th to May 5th and is hosted by a $3,300 buy-in to the Texas Poker Open Main Event with a guarantee of $2 million and eight starting flights.
The Texas Poker Open also features seven high roller tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5,300 to $10,500, including five no-limit hold’em events and two pot-limit Omaha events. Each of these PGT Qualifying Events will award PGT Leaderboard Points to qualify for the season-ending PGT Championship $1,000,000 Freeroll.

In addition to the eight PGT qualifying events, the Texas Poker Open features a full slate of satellite events that start at $250 and go up to $550.

The Texas Series will feature extensive streaming programming, including six consecutive days of Main Event coverage and Final Table coverage of multiple high-roller events.

While most PGT offerings, such as the recent PGT Mixed Games Series and the upcoming PGT PLO Series, take place in Las Vegas, the Texas Poker Open offers players in the Lone Star State the chance to earn PGT points to play there can use PokerGO Studio.
“Champions Club is the place to play poker in Texas, and together with Isaac and the Champions Club team we believe we have put together a truly must-see series of events featuring eight PGT qualifiers,” said PokerGO Director of Live Events Tim Duckworth.
