While most of the time people who play slots settle for normal-sized winnings (if they win at all), sometimes they end up getting their hands on life-changing money.
An anonymous player at the Excalibur Casino Resort in Las Vegas has hit a jackpot worth nearly $12.2 million while playing Megabucks Spitfire Multipliers Triple Red Hot 7s slot machine. IGT, the game’s developer, announced the big win on X (formerly Twitter):
This was the fourth time in 2023 that someone hit the Megabucks jackpot in the state of Nevada, and it is the second largest of those wins. One lucky player won a $14 million jackpot with a $10 bet at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno in April.
The Excalibur is no stranger to big wins either, as it hosted the biggest slot jackpot win of all time in 2003, where the player won $39.7 million on a Megabucks machine.
